Aweber vs GetResponse

When picking an autoresponder there are so many opinions out there.  No matter who you ask you will get a different opinion and no one is 100% wrong or right.  I decided to put together a page that represents several different opinions and puts them all in one place so you can get answers to questions like:

Which is the best in aweber vs getresponse?

Aweber is a fantastic and very well known and respected company with a great product. They are always working on user friendliness and it is getting easier and easier to use. I love that you have the ability to easily connect your account to many different apps and services without having to pay. I think that Aweber offers the most app connections out of all the autoresponder companies. The drawback to Aweber is that it doesn’t have that many automation services. If you are just starting out or have a very small list that you aren’t planning on growing quickly this is fine. If you have more complex needs and plan on moving your contacts into different databases this will not be so easy in Aweber.

GetResponse has a lot more automation than Aweber and this matters if all you do is market to various lists. Get Response has great deliverability but it is really a matter of opinion as to whether or not it is better than Aweber. I haven’t had a problem with either one. The graphics and email templates provided by GetResponse are really beautiful and can make any business look top notch.   As for automation let me try to explain. GetResponse will let you automatically segment out who you are going to send emails to based on such things as: links clicked, contact information has been changed, an email has been opened, an internal goal you have set has been reached and there are many more criteria that you can stipulate. These things are very important if you are juggling multiple lists and a lot of contacts.

Recently GetResponse has added on a free landing page creator that is fantastic for those businesses that don’t want to have to reach out to a webmaster everytime you need to test a new landing page.

Both GetResponse and Aweber are fantastic email marketing companies with wonderful customer support. I have never had a problem getting in touch with either of these companies via phone or IM chat and the support staff for both parties has always been courteous and helpful.

GetResponse Pricing vs. Aweber Pricing

These two are not the same when it comes to pricing. For example GetResponse will give you one month free and charge you $15 per month for up to 1000 subscribers and you can get that down to $12.30 if you pay up front for a year. Aweber will give you one month free and then charge $19 per month for up to 500 subscribers and will then jump to $29 per month for up to 2500 subscribers. GetResponse is $25 per month for 2500 subscribers.

Why not test drive these autoresponders for free and find out for yourself?
